Each summer, Mission Creek Camp & Retreat Center becomes a place of joy, growth, and belonging for adults with developmental disabilities and youth of ALL abilities. Campers of all abilities come together to experience new adventures—canoeing, arts, nature walks, music, and meaningful friendships—all supported by caring staff and volunteers who ensure every camper feels valued and included.

"I want to start off by saying the camp is really nice. The camp staff is really friendly. Because Kimberly, one of the counselors, we had a nice time out. She made sure that we were having a great day. She spent time every day to sit down and talk with us. Gifton another counselor was a hoot. Because Kristy uses canes to walk, Gifton knelt down and let Kristy sit on his knee to shoot archery. He made sure we both were successful in shooting archery. The horse people that came out and made the experience for Kristy amazing. She was able to ride the horse and all the camp staff that helped hold on to her so she could stay on the horse. We really loved the marshmallow war. Violet was very helpful with all of the showers and helping get Kristy to the bathroom and anywhere else we needed to go.

Thanks for a wonderful summer. We will be back."

A Letter from our Founder -
I never set out to build something big. Back in 2006, it was just me, my 10-year-old daughter, a rented barn, and a hope that horses could change someone’s life the way they changed ours. Hope Ranch grew because people kept showing up to a place where their loved ones were seen, supported, and celebrated.

That same hope is what brought my wife, Cathy, and I to Mission Creek Camp in 2018. When we walked the old Daisy Hindman property for the first time, I remember thinking, “Kids are going to come alive here.” And they have. Every laugh echoing from the cabins, every brave camper trying something new, and every moment of joy is the heart of this place.

We’ve weathered a pandemic, rebuilt, grown, and watched this camp turn into something truly special. I’m proud of what we’ve created, but I’m even more proud of the campers who make this place what it is.

As we close out the year, I'm inviting you to help another camper discover possibilities at camp. Your support keeps the cabins open, the horses saddled, the counselors trained, and the laughter rolling across the hills.

At Mission Creek, meals are part of the care we provide. With a professional chef, we serve nutritional and multicultural cuisine to keep our campers healthy and ready for fun. Salad bar and fresh cut fruit with berries always accompany lunch and dinner, and seven years of perfect food safety, you can feel confident your camper is well-fed and supported. We handle allergies and dietary needs with ease so every child feels included at the table.
