Yesterday Lochlan turned 2 months old!

Oh how time has flown by so fast!
We have been fortifing his breastmilk because of weight gain issues. I am so excited to say that yesterday at his appointment, his pediatrician mentioned we won't need to fortify much longer or any for that matter as he went from 5lbs to nearly 8lbs in a month!
Bub is almost exclusively breastfed minus some feeds which after seeing my milk dip recently, him back to breastfeeding has made an improvement in my supply!

He fits in our family perfectly💚

Life has been hectic adjusting to everything BUT Lochlan came home on the 2nd! 🎉

Walking out of the NICU was such a huge relief and seemed as if the old NICU worries went away and new home worries popped up!
I dont know why I even worried.. He is doing amazing at home! His sisters absolutely love him to pieces! He is such a calm baby when he isn't hungry! 😅

Bub is having some weight gain issues but we are trying the best to help him grow!
He left the NICU at 5lbs, on the 4th was 5lbs2oz, than the 9th he was 5lbs4oz. We have to add fortifier to his milk but once chunky enough, we can get off of it!

On to this next adventure my little man💙

Lochlan Alexander is 2 weeks old!
Gestational age 34weeks and 4days!

Bub has been moved to an open crib this morning as he runs hot super hot!

He is taking 33ml of breastmilk! We hope to start breastfeeding soon as he absolutely loves when we do oral care with milk! He is taking the paci perfectly! They took him off of the fortifier as it was upsetting his tummy and he was throwing up everywhere!

We are officially off of IV fluids so no more IV in unless its truly needed!

He got off his cpap about noon! So no more air woohoo! He never kept it in as is so he is absolutely loving it without it!

Talk about home is being brought up and we can't be more excited than we are!

Preemie strong for sure! Our warrior! 💜

4 days ago Lochlan had a truly difficult day and we were prepared to have a long rocky road.
But our little man immediately got on a better path the next day!

Now bubs is on feeds again, finally off of his blood pressure and heart medications as he is officially on room air again and keeping his tempature! We have yet to hold our baby boy but hoping soon we can. 🙏🏻

Today Lochlan is 34 weeks gestational/ 10 days old! 💙 Happy Valentines from this cutie!

Day 3 of Lochlans Adventures!
Firstly, I cant believe how quick three days have gone by! Another woot woot moment is today makes him 33 weeks gestational age!

Now for all the not so fun stuff..
Lochlans blood pressure isn't in the range they want so they might start a bolis to see if that straightens things out some. If that doesn't help than they will be starting blood pressure medication asap on him!

His oxygen was at 21% so basically breathing on his own and this morning his oxygen is at 31% as he is having troubles keeping up. The possibility of lochlan going home on a low dosage of oxygen is there which would be another obstacle but he has this! He is having some stress which can be caused by a lot but seems to be mostly focused around the oxygen help mixed with him breathing too hard so he can keep up with his body.
Due to this stress, his face is starting to swell a little but it should slowly fix itself!

He is on 18ml of breastmilk and having no issues on it! No spitups or choking! We are still unable to hold him as he isn't in the best state to be held but we are working towards giving him all the cuddles and feeds he wants!

We are officially parents of another preemie! Thankfully not as early as Luna and her being a 29 weeker! Ah Can't believe she is a big sister!

Lochlan Alexander made his appearance at 32 weeks and 4 days at 3:05pm February 4th, weighing 4lbs 6oz and 17in. Long! 💜

We are looking at a month stay but he is kicking everything out of the water that the time could be cut shorter! Nurses say more so a 2 week stay! (Trying not to get too excited!)

Lochlan is under the light as bilirubin was a little high! He is officially on room temp! Drinking 12ml of breastmilk every 3 hours!
Needs help with his lungs some but once the tube in his mouth is out, we can breastfeed! 💜

What a few months!

We've been keeping a little secret in..
Luna and her sisters, Shiloh and Evanlyee, are becoming big sisters to a baby brother!

Though, Lochlan, is trying to plan an escape just like Luna! Luna was born at 29w2d and her brother has now been trying to come since 22 weeks! We have made it to 28w5d but doctors don't think we will be pregnant much longer which means.. Another NICU stay!
If he does stay with the power of miracles, praying, and all good thoughts.. We will be induced on February 14th at 34 weeks!

We understand this is a page for Luna and everyone has come to see her grow up but we have thought about possibly making this for her brothers journey as well! Our Preemies Lives and journey's together in one place!

We appreciate all the love our page has brought to our family! Having that support was and has been what kept me going some days! 💜

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY LUNA ANN!
Our once small little 2lb fighter is now a 15lb sassy toddler.. Time has flown by! You have come so far my girl! 💜

She can talk your ear off, stand on her own, eat food like its going out of style!
She is in 6-9m clothes and way too long like her daddy! She has such beautiful curly hair!

We still have tons of bumps to cross but we will get there when we do!

Hello Hello!
We have had quite a few new followers and we thank you all for joining our little adventure! 💜

Luna Ann is ALMOST a year old!
I, her mama, CANNOT believe it..

She went from this 2lb14oz little girl who was fighting for her life for the first 3 months of her life to this 15lb obnoxious 1 year old who still has to "fight for her life" but with her sisters who are constantly trying to get her to play with them! She was determined and showed our family and this whole support family on here, She could do it and be a strong willed girl!

She has come very far and though we've had some bumps in the road along the way with her eyes and ears and some learning development (nothing wrong with a little behindness) She still carries on to prove how determined she is to get what she wants! After all she is a bland!

Luna Ann..
• Sits up on her own!
• Eats big girl food (trying to use utensils too)
• Head strength is like none other!
• Has 3 teeth and 3 more coming in!
• Holds her own bottle and tries to use sippies!
• Loves talking and saying daddy and papa

As her birthday sneaks up on us, We made an Amazon list for those who would like to chime in on her fun filled day!

• Luna loves Elmo (Its constantly on the TV)
• She is in 6-9m but with winter sneaking up on us I decided to put 12m sizes on her list.
• She is Size 3 in diapers.
• She loves tags so taggie blankets are a constant want from her as its a comfort!
• She also is teething tremendously so I have added a few options of teethers for her!
• Most items are what she needs and a few toys.
• Also most items are budget friendly minus one item that is more so a need and want item.

Our little Friday the 13th baby is 9 months old!

She is 16lbs and 28 inches long! 💜
WE FINALLY GOT THE GO TO TRY FOOD!

Luna is..
•Bouncing and kicking any moment she gets!
•Into EVERYTHING..
•Good at getting her way!
•Sitting up on her own!
•Is a Pro roller!
•Sticking her tongue out 24/7 👅

All around one of the happiest babies around!

Her pediatrician is SO happy with how she is growing! She is about in the middle range of milestones of kids her ACTUAL age and not adjusted age! You go girl! Kickin b***y!

She was supposed to have a follow up appointment of her eyes two days ago but was canceled due to a covid exposure in office!
We now go back November 23rd once she is A YEAR OLD! Crazy times flies.. 3 more months!

Little miss just got over a nasty common cold that affected the whole household but we are glad it was nothing worse and we are better!

Thank you for the 9 months of everyone's constant support, love, and comments though we have been very inactive! 💜

HOW! Time has gone by so fast!
Luna Ann is Already 5 months old!

She is laughing, smiling, cooing, and still obsessed with her bo***es!

She is truly perfection and we are so happy to have her in our daily lives!

Luna had a checkup recently and her pediatrician said that many 29 weekers don't typically meet their requirements as fast as her age but Luna is actually ahead of game!
She is doing everything she should be and even more!

She's truly a Rockstar 💜

Luna is 11lbs 13oz, finally in 0-3 clothes and size 1 diapers! Her sisters love her so much..
Constantly trying to change diapers, feed her, and just cuddle her! So loved my babygirl!

Hello Hello Everyone! ❤

It's been awhile but we've been on our toes with Luna's two older sisters and of course Luna as well!

Today Luna is FOUR months old! (2m adjusted)
Oh how time has passed!

About 2 weeks ago, we had an appointment with Luna's Eye doctor as she was concerned that Luna had glaucoma. Though this last exam showed Luna's eyes are actually healing right and she isn't showing any more signs of said glaucoma! We go back to the eye doctor in August to talk about glasses as there is a possibility of blindness.

Luna is cooing, smiling, laughing, and just having an all around fun time always with her mommy!

She is 9lbs 14oz! ❤

Thank you to everyone who has stayed and followed Luna since day one! I will be trying to update more when life isn't as hectic! ❤
