As the temperatures drop, so does your body’s readiness to move—unless you warm up!

Cooler weather makes your muscles stiffer and more prone to injury, which is why a proper warm-up is even more important this time of year. Try 5–10 minutes of light cardio (like brisk walking or marching in place) followed by dynamic stretches to wake up your muscles before activity.
