👋 Meet Mathew Slater, DPT!

Mathew grew up on a farm in Circleville, KS, earned his Kinesiology degree from Washburn, and completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Saint Mary. He’s passionate about building strong relationships with his patients and providing truly personalized care.

When he’s not in the clinic, you’ll find him cheering for the Jayhawks or enjoying a mix of genres on the playlist. 💙💛

Cooler weather makes your muscles stiffer and more prone to injury, which is why a proper warm-up is even more important this time of year. Try 5–10 minutes of light cardio (like brisk walking or marching in place) followed by dynamic stretches to wake up your muscles before activity.
