The Flu season is coming! Typically the flu starts to hit the peak in December through February.

Trevor & Cassie recommend getting your flu vaccine sometime in October or November to make sure you have the best shot at avoiding getting a severe case of the flu.

While we can't take most insurances we CAN take traditional Medicare part B as long as you do NOT have a Medicare Advantage plan.

Our regular flu shots are $44.99 for patients under age 65 and we have the high dose for $97.

Also - for $50, Trevor can help you find the best Medicare Part D plan at your pharmacy of choice!

Last year WELLCARE was the lowest monthly premium plan for patients. This year that has changed! Come talk to Trevor and see if he can save you a few $100!

Check out Modern Medical Mafia - this docuseries does a really nice job explaining why we made the tough choice to no longer work with insurance companies.

This docuseries helps explain why our Medicare patient had to pay a $125 copay for their medicine using insurance at another pharmacy, but was able to get it here for $78.00 WITHOUT insurance here.

United Health Group has been successful in intimidating streaming platforms to remove this docuseries, but it is at least for the moment available on YouYube.

Not taking insurance any longer has been a challenging process, but we are incredibly thankful for the continued support.

A few things you may not know:

1) We can do 90 day supply for A TON of generics for only $19.99!

This divided over 3 months is less than $7.00 a month for most generic meds

---- For reference, the national average price for a McDonalds Big Mac meal is roughly $9.29 in 2025----

Several other generics we can do between $22-29.99 for 3 months

2) We appreciate those of you who voiced concerns to your representatives - Indiana passed a promising law that has the potential to put us in a position where we may be able to take commercial insurance plans back in as early as 2026 if it rolls out as intended. The bill does not help us with government programs like Medicare or Medicaid yet, but

3) The federal government is well aware of this issue, executive orders are being made (will believe them when we see them in action) , as well as congress level discussions that seem to agree on the WHY this needs fixed, but still navigating the HOW to fix it.

Avoiding using your insurance for lower cost generic medications allows YOU TO REGAIN CONTROL OF YOUR OWN HEALTHCARE!

You get to tell us if you want a specific brand.
