At Newcomer, we offer paid time off to our associates as part of our benefits package. Many use this time to the fullest for vacations, life events, personal or family illness or just because. But we understand that some years, if everyone is healthy or no trips are planned, an associate might not need all their allotted PTO. We wanted to make sure they still received a benefit from the program.

Through our PTO payout program, 40 associates received nearly $60,000 in exchange for their unused time off. We are always looking to improve our benefits package to keep Newcomer a great place to work!

We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented professional who shares our Core Values of Excellence, Trust, Care and Growth to provide accounting support to our funeral homes and cemeteries.

Working out of our Home Office in Topeka, KS, our accounting services representatives manage the accounts receivable and payable responsibilities for a selected number of our locations. This includes processing customer contracts and statements, making deposits, maintaining inventory records, completing sales tax reports, paying invoices and providing courteous support to colleagues when questions arise.
