Earlier this month we gathered our funeral home leaders at the always-gracious JAWACDAH Farm in Batesville, Indiana for a time of learning, sharing and connecting. Informative sessions about cultivating ownership, embracing innovation, and strengthening teams were presented, and activities such as panel discussions, peer-to-peer presentations and coaching practice exercises helped participants practice new skills and build cohesion as a leadership team. Additionally, a number of awards were handed out in recognition of associates' tenure milestones. Attendees shared that one of the most rewarding parts of the week was the opportunity to connect with their colleagues from across the country and enhance their network of support for future challenges and opportunities.
