Our new owner, Tristan Willits, brought his son Zarion by for a visit , and it didn’t take long for him to win everyone’s hearts! The residents and staff absolutely adore Zarion and can’t wait for his next visit.

Exciting News from Oakley Place!

We are thrilled to announce that Mr. Tristan Willits, along with his wife Acacia and their three children Kymiah, Ja’nyah, and Zarion, officially became the new owners of Oakley Place Topeka & Rossville on October 1, 2025.

For over 30 years, Oakley Place has proudly served seniors in the Topeka and Rossville communities. Tristan and his family are deeply committed to continuing the mission and vision that has been the heart of Oakley Place for decades.

The Willits family is beyond grateful and excited to join and serve the Topeka and Rossville communities. The Oakley Place family is equally grateful to welcome them, and we can’t wait to see the incredible things they will do to carry on the Oakley legacy.

One of our night staff who loves to bake keeps a list of her coworkers favorite cakes and makes the cake for their birthday. 🎂 I guess this has been going on for a while and I just happened to catch her in the act while at the facility late last night. It takes a large team to provide the level of care our residents deserve. Teamwork is essential and building a great team isn’t just about management. Teamwork is when everyone is invested in creating an environment where people are valued. So often I look at things our team does for each other and I know how essential those acts of service are to making what we do possible. Thank you to all the team members who switch shifts, provide rides, train new staff, pick up the slack when someone is having a day, and remind me to just be a better person.
