Supporting OT and OTA students strengthens the future of our profession and our state association. Our state scholarship, the Gloria Scammahorn scholarship, provides financial assistance to students in Kansas and is housed at AOTF.

This Giving Tuesday, December 2, 2025, the AOTF is collecting donations to contribute to state scholarship funds. Your gift to any AOTF fund helps Kansas climb the leaderboard—and the top 4 states will earn an extra $500 for their 2026 scholarship!

If you have an idea to improve OT policy or practice, submit an RFA—or run it by our Kansas RA Rep, Natalie Scott, OTD, OTR/L, BCG at natalielynscott@gmail.com.

New motions will be reviewed at the spring 2026 RA meeting. Let’s make Kansas voices heard!

Get ready to Rise Up and Empower the OT Revolution at the 2026 KOTA Annual Conference!

Join occupational therapy professionals from across the state for two days of learning, inspiration, and connection. KOTA is currently looking into providing sessions on Thursday evening as well to provide attendees with as many CEUs as possible, but the schedule is not finalized at this time. We will share updates here as they come.
