🌸 Happy May Day from Equi-Venture Farms! 🌸

Today, we celebrated May Day by passing out flowers to our amazing staff and participants as a small token of appreciation for the kindness, dedication, and positivity they bring each day. At EVF, we believe in celebrating the people who make our community so special.

🌟 April Monthly Spotlight: Emily 🌟

Emily has been a wonderful part of the Equi-Venture Farms family for 6 years, bringing energy, laughter, and friendship to each day. When asked what she loves most about EVF, Emily shared that she enjoys having fun, spending time with her many friends, and the staff's involvement, especially when they join her for basketball in the gym.

Emily loves animals, especially dogs, and dreams of working in retail at a store like Walmart one day. One of her favorite memories at EVF is the annual Halloween party, especially the hay ride.

Emily feels most inspired by staff member Shawna, whom she lovingly calls “Mama Shawna.” She says Shawna is always there when she needs her, inspiring Emily to be that same kind of friend to others.

At Equi-Venture Farms, our mission is “Changing Lives One Day at a Time,” and Emily is a wonderful example of the friendships and encouragement that make our community so special.

Paige shared her love for history, fiction, and inspiring stories. She enjoys autobiographies about leaders like Abraham Lincoln and Helen Keller, poetry by Anne Rice and Edgar Allan Poe, and books about disabilities that remind her, “I can do certain things even though I have a disability.” Her favorite book is an autobiography about Elvis Presley.
