Her kindness and dedication have made such a positive impact on our office and every patient who walked through our door.

Her last day with us will be April 29th, so be sure to wish her well if you see her in the office over the next week.

…and for some of us...it’s prime nap-on-the-couch-with-golf-in-the-background season. Elite relaxation sport. 😌📺

We’ve made it to the final region of our Spine Exercise Series – the neck (also called the cervical spine)

Neck discomfort is one of the most common issues we see, and a lot of it ties back to posture, stress, and poor movement habits.

Your neck is built to move, but it also depends on good posture and strong muscular support to function well.

Long hours on phones, laptops, and at desks can overload those muscles quickly.

“If I can crack it, I’m fixing it”… right? Not exactly.

We see this all the time: people twisting, pulling, or jerking their neck or back to try to “self-adjust.” It might feel satisfying for a moment, but here’s what’s really happening:
👉 You’re usually moving the joints that are already too loose
👉 The stiff, restricted joints (the ones that actually need help) stay stuck
👉 Over time, this can create *hypermobility,* meaning certain areas become unstable and irritated

That temporary relief? It often leads to:
• More tension
• Muscles tightening to “guard” the area
• The feeling that you have to keep cracking it over and over
That cycle isn’t alignment. It’s your body chasing relief.

A specific chiropractic adjustment is different. We don’t just move what will move; we find the areas that aren’t moving properly and correct those, while helping the rest of the spine stay stable and balanced.
