Following her graduation from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 2000, she continued her training and specialized in Prosthodontics, Maxillofacial Prosthodontics and Geriatric Dentistry, all at UCLA. In 2014, after being in private practice for many years, she again expanded her specialization by completing the internationally respected Implant Dentistry fellowship at Loma Linda University – one of only two centers in the world that offer such in-depth dental implant training. This combined training and practical experience has made Dr. Rodriguez a highly skilled dental implant surgeon. Deeply committed to education, Dr. Rodriguez spent 8 years on faculty at the UCLA School of Dentistry; continues to mentor students and young dentists, and frequently attends advanced dentistry courses all over the world. sisterhood, a U.S. based international women’s organization whose primary focus is providing educational opportunities for female students worldwide. Perry Klokkevold, D.D.S, M.S., F.A.C.D. brings 25 years of clinical expertise as a periodontist, implant surgeon and educator to the PermaDent Team. He is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology, a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and a Faculty Member of the OKU Dental Honor Society. He graduated from UCSF School of Dentistry and completed postgraduate training in Hospital Dentistry, Periodontics and Implant Surgery, all at UCLA. Dr. Klokkevold is Professor of Clinical Dentistry and Director of the UCLA Periodontics Residency Program. He lectures nationally and internationally and has been an invited expert to world conferences assessing the state of periodontics and implantology. He has published over 60 articles and more than 100 book chapters. He is Co-Editor Clinical Periodontology, (10th -13th eds) the most widely read and respected textbook in the field of periodontics.
