Community offerings announcement!

In these times of dysregulation and activation from oppressive systems locally and globally, we are in need of the release of our emotions, and the rebalancing of our nervous systems and grounding of bodies safely.

Starting this spring we will be increasing our sliding scale acupuncture offerings to every 1st an 3rd Wednesday of each month!

Sliding scale $85 - $135

Each acupuncture session includes Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis, Functional Medicine analysis, cupping therapy and acupuncture to help reset the central nervous system. A perfect way to regulate stress, promote circulation and balance the mind, body and spirit.

Food is medicine: healing my torn hip labrum edition

Chicken feet is not only full of protein, and collagen; it contains glucosamine and chondroitin to help with joint and connective tissue health. Therefore making it anti-inflammatory.

Luckily I can still work and do most everyday things with a big emphasis on slowing, patience and stillness for recovery. Thank you to my boo for being the master chef in cooking all things as I slowly rehab and recover this journey from injury so I can eventually return to surfing and jiu jitsu I love.

Avoiding a cesarean for a breech baby 🐣

I understand for many pregnant persons having a breech baby presentation can be very worrisome as that could mean having to have an unexpected cesarean birth.

There are many reasons why a baby is breeched, and for many, cesarean is the best way of helping your baby come out to the world safely.

However with the combination of acupuncture, moxibustion, chiropractic care and massage therapy, your baby can have a chance at turning on their own, or to help an ECV be successful at turning your baby with the OB to avoid a c-section.

For those whose baby choose to stay breeched, know that acupuncture treatments can also help you let go and prepare your mind and body for a planned cesarean.

My recommendation is to start seeing your local acupuncturist at around week 34 for optimal results.
