There are not enough conversations being had about how women are mean girls because their mother, grandmothers, sisters, and aunties were mean girls. I have encountered so many women who did not know how to have a genuine sisterhood because all they knew was catty and jealous behavior against women.

I grew up with a "mother" that envied me and tore me down about everything. Until I was in my late 30s I critiqued my body as she used to. She finally admitted to me at 39 that she always thought I had a "bad" body and she wished she was shaped like me. In my moment of frustration, I said, "So, you were willing to break me as a child, just so you could feel better?" She had no response. I was one again left to heal a pain that she caused. That has been my life's story.

I have come to realize that being born to a 16 year old was not for the faint at heart. However, I took that and used it as fuel. I became a mother at 17 and I've ALWAYS empowered my children... ESPECIALLY my daughters. My children are the improvement on my design. It is their birthright to be greater than me. I guess if my, "mother" had never told me at 17 that no matter what I did, I would never be better than her in life.. I probably wouldn't push so hard to make sure my children know that they are as great as they are every day.

I'm creating more gathering spaces for my sisters to heal from these things. The amount of women I'm having to re-mother is heartbreaking. But I'm glad it is me that is CHOSEN to do it. 💕

Everyone thinks my healing Staycations are just about meditation, inner child healing, crying and journaling, etc.

All of this is true. We do those things as well.

However, we also laugh, ATV, eat yummy foods without guilt, and enjoy unforgettable bar hop and club experiences. I will say, to date, Bali has one of the best night scenes. You couldn't pay me to step into a club in the US. However, it's a MUST every time I go to Bali!

This was the Above Roof Lounge and the ladies and I had a blast!!

I do my best to create an amazing experience for every sacred space that I AM A part of. No two experiences will EVER be the same. We are heading back to Bali in October and we still have 2 spots left.
