Bake notes: Morning sun and Gerry waking up our longtime sourdough starter, Gandalf, for the week ahead. The house smells of gingerbread biscotti and we are starting to put up lights. Days are harder for many and I am finding myself digging deeper for good things to think about. Sunday mornings, ginger, Tom Waits, baking for this community and lighting up the darkness…let’s go with that for today.
