Helping seniors enjoy nutritious meals at home is an important part of the care we provide. 💜

As part of our in-home care services, Senior Helpers caregivers can assist with meal planning and preparation, including accommodating dietary needs like low-sodium meals. This support helps make daily routines easier and mealtimes more enjoyable.

“Preparation of low-sodium meals for my wife is very helpful. I tried that myself and was very frustrated. Amy, our caregiver, comes once a week and prepares low-sodium meals for my wife and then freezes them. My wife can prepare the meals simply by heating them in the microwave. The meals are appetizing and nutritious. We both appreciate this service very much.”

Use this simple formula to build your own easy sheet pan dinner:

🥔 Choose a Starch

• Sweet potato
• Butternut squash
• White potato

🥦 Choose 2–3 Vegetables

• Onion
• Bell pepper
• Brussels sprouts
• Asparagus
• Zucchini
• Carrots
• Broccoli
• Green beans

🍗 Choose a Protein

• Chicken
• Salmon
• Steak
• Pork
• Tofu

🌿 Choose a Flavor Blend

• Southwest (chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder)
• Garlic & Herb (garlic powder, Italian seasoning, thyme, rosemary)
• Mediterranean (oregano, basil, garlic, lemon zest)
• Asian-inspired (ginger, garlic, sesame seeds, low-sodium soy sauce or tamari)
