Can you listen very closely, get quiet, hear. Ever heard the trees speak? If you wait, you may get something.

When I was a girl traveling through the marshes at night. I saw 2 great wolves. They stopped looking at me slowly, walked away.

Skating of frozen lake after midnight, sky clear, thousands of stars. The lake moans. So scared a person, yet no fear at all, perfectly safe, protected.

Driving home from a date, a giant buck blocked my path, stopping my car, looking at me, looking back.

Can you hear the sound of life? Can you hear them? Unmoved, flowing, buzzing, simmering static. Or do you feel it instead? Ever feel the vibrations? That's wild. The foxes yip, scream, the lights twinkle in the trees. The between world. Water flowing fast insects busy. Walking at night animals know. Listen.
