Small classes make a big difference! At Chelsea School, every student receives a daily 45-minute reading tutorial that ranges in size from 2-5 students. Smaller classes allow our reading teachers to individualize instruction, tailor interventions, and provide more specific support for each child. MACS is pleased to share that the Maryland General Assembly will host Art in Full Spectrum, a special exhibition featuring artwork by Marylanders with disabilities during the 2026 legislative session (January–April 2026).

Join The Parents’ Place of Maryland and the Special Education Citizens Advisory Council (SECAC) for Prince George’s County Public Schools for a two-part Individualized Education Program (IEP) Clinic!

During this two-part mini workshop series, participants will:
- Learn how an IEP is developed
- Learn what each section of the IEP means for your child
- Develop your understanding of your child’s IEP
- Improve your skills in advocating for your child’s needs
