The Baltimore County Department of Health continues to partner with the Baltimore County Public Library to offer naloxone receptacles in all 19 library branches. Naloxone is a safe medication that can rapidly reverse the effects of an opioid overdose, including he**in and fentanyl.

🚨The Baltimore County Freezing Weather Shelter locations have been extended through December 23. Beds will be available starting at 6 pm December 18 through Friday December 23 at 9 am. 🚨

Residents in need of shelter to avoid inclement weather and extreme cold conditions should be directed to the Eastern Family Resource Center at 9150 Franklin Square Drive, Rosedale, MD 21237; Hannah More Family Shelter at 12041 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown, MD 21136 or Westside Men's Shelter at 309 Redwood Circle, Catonsville, MD 21228.

Participation in the online training is open to everyone, not just Baltimore County residents, and you will still receive your completion certificate and a Narcan kit.
