Water is connected to winter, a time to rest and reflect, but this element shows us the power of persistence and adaptability. Being imbalanced in this element can present as fear and anxiety. What an energetically charged week!
🎊2/17 brought in the Lunar New Year, the year of the Fire Horse, as the year changes we welcome the call for pursuing our passions and creativity while still staying grounded.
🌙2/17 also brought the beginning of the month of Ramadan, 30 days of fasting from sunrise to sunset, ending in the celebration of Eid! Prayer, study, abstinence, and acts of charity are also pursued during this time. We wish our Muslim siblings a fulfilling month!
✝️2/18 began another season of fasting, charity, and prayer, Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent. Lent is a solemn 40 day observance leading up to the celebration of Easter! Many Catholic and Christian observers of this holiday abstain from something to show their dedication. We wish our Catholic and Christian siblings a fulfilling season!
