We are still smiling from this incredible effort to support the So Much to Give Inclusive Cafe! A huge thank you to Dr. Mak and the entire Skippack Pharmacy team for their visionary leadership. It wasn’t just about the salt; it was about the spirit of neighbors looking out for neighbors. We are so honored to be part of a community that values inclusion and supports the mission of our cafe so generously. Thank you, Skippack Pharmacy!
This is the ultimate example of a community working together to help each other.
Back in January, Skippack Pharmacy donated 50,000 lbs of salt to neighbors ahead of a winter storm. Not only did Dr. Mak recognize a need to help the community prepare for the weather, but he also turned it into an opportunity for the community to give back by collecting donations for So Much to Give Inclusive Cafe PA when neighbors came to the pharmacy to get salt. The community donated $5,000!
We joined Skippack Pharmacy as they presented a check to the cafe, which employs people of all abilities, ensuring that everyone has an opportunity for a fulfilling job.
I’m so grateful that we have incredible local businesses who do so much to support our neighbors and I’m proud of the Skippack Township, Pennsylvania community for coming together to donate money to support a local business.
