Michigan continues to find recalled ByHeart infant formula being sold at surplus and distressed food stores. This formula was recalled in November 2025 due to possible contamination with Clostridium botulinum.
MDARD is urging all discount, salvage, and reclamation retailers to closely check their inventory and immediately remove and destroy any recalled or outdated infant formula. Avoid Products with Use By Date 12/01/2026.
Keeping infants safe is critical. If a child consumed ByHeart formula and shows symptoms like poor feeding or difficulty swallowing, seek medical care right away.
