Happy Monday! It’s the start of another fresh week for all of us, but we’re still smiling about the wonderful memories we shared with our residents and families last week!

We’ve been making every effort to keep our residents active and engaged throughout the long winter season. Last week was especially full of joy, love, and special memories as we celebrated Valentine’s Week!

Our residents enjoyed live music from the talented Miriam Pico, participated in energizing exercise classes led by Mickey Boomer, and gathered for a cozy hot chocolate social. They also had the chance to create handmade Valentine’s cards for their families.

Nicole with Hospice of Michigan hosted a fantastic Valentine’s Day Photo booth for our residents and staff! We all had so much fun getting dressed up, taking pictures and laughing together!

We wrapped up the week with our annual Valentine’s Day party — always a favorite, because our residents love hearing the word “party”!

On another note, we’re getting very excited about the sunshine we’ve been seeing lately. We’re already planning and preparing for spring, with lots in store for everyone to enjoy!

We are so incredibly thankful to have partnered with Sage Integration Massage & Body Care for our staff party last week. Our initial plans for our Staff Christmas Party fell through last minute. Lori Wagner and her fantastic crew came to the rescue!

They moved into French Manor Terra on Saturday and setup 4 massage beds and multiple facial stations. Once setup they spent 6 hours giving our staff massages and facials. They were all fantastic! Many of our staff said that was the best massage they have ever had! Your team is top notch!

Thank you so much for stepping up and pampering our staff this weekend. They all work incredibly hard day in and day out to make sure our residents receive the best care possible!

We couldn't resist ... We moved pretty much our entire Spa over to French Manor Terra last Saturday to pamper their employees with massages and facials. Do we usually do off-premise work? NO! but, there was just something about Mary (the coordinator in the red sweater) and Brandon, (the administrator/owner) that I couldn't resist!
These Senior Living Centers do sooooo much for our community, our mothers & fathers, our loved ones. What better way for us to show a token of our appreciation back than to pamper the very ones who do all the hard work to take care of us???
Yes, it was hard work for us too, but it was worth every moment when we saw the joy on the workers faces and the comments of appreciation were overwhelming!!!
Thank you for inviting us, Brandon & Mary. We're all family now!!!

Happy Groundhog Day!

It seems our groundhog has predicted six more weeks of winter—which may bring mixed reactions—but don’t worry! Our upcoming activities are sure to make the weeks ahead fly by, especially with our engaging day-to-day programming and the holidays we’ll be celebrating this month.

This past Saturday, we had the pleasure of celebrating our incredible team with a “New Year, Fresh Start” party. Team members enjoyed a delicious meal, fun and engaging games, and an exciting raffle with the chance to win several impressive prizes. To make the day even more special, we partnered with Sage Integration to offer on-site massages and facials—an extra touch of well-deserved relaxation.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Qt Nails, Hospice of Michigan, Bella’s Salon, 7Brew, Discovery Cruise, and Options for Senior Living. Their generous raffle donations helped make this celebration truly memorable, and we are so thankful for their continued support. 💙

Happy 2026!

We’re already into the second week of the new year, and we truly hope you and your families had a joyful and restful end to 2025. We’ve loved jumping into this new year with so much energy and positivity.

From cozy hot chocolate socials and our ladies’ tea party to hosting a dementia training for our entire team, we’re focused on growing together and caring for your loved ones in the best ways possible. Learning more about dementia helps us better understand, connect with, and support each resident through every stage of their journey—and that means so much to us.

We’re so grateful to share this year with you and your loved ones. We’re excited for what’s ahead and look forward to creating many more meaningful moments together in 2026. Our hearts and our focus remain on making every day as full, comfortable, and joyful as it can be for our residents and their families. 💛

As we officially close out 2025, we hope you and your families enjoyed a wonderful holiday season. This month was filled with festive cheer—from singing and holiday crafts to fun social gatherings.
We have been truly blessed to share another amazing year with all of you at French Manor Terra, and we are genuinely grateful for your continued love and support.

We look forward to ringing in the new year and creating even more meaningful activities, celebrations, and memories with our incredible community.

We wanted to express our sincere appreciation for all the families who joined us last Friday for our annual Christmas dinner. We are honored to consider this community our own.

From the live music, to the delicious dinner, and the joy of opening gifts, it was truly a memorable evening. We are deeply touched by the love and support we have built within these halls.

Thank you to everyone who came out and volunteered their time, as well as all our staff, who made this night go so smoothly.

We hope you all have a wonderful holiday week and remember that the memories we create during this time can last a lifetime!

As we enter the second week of the winter season, residents have been embracing the holiday spirit while also preparing for the upcoming weather.

From singing Christmas songs with our live entertainment, to holiday baking and engaging activities, we continue to provide a warm and festive atmosphere.

We are eagerly anticipating the upcoming events, including our annual Christmas dinner, caroling, and everything else this season has to offer.

We hope you and your families remain warm and safe as we enter this holiday season.

Happy Thanksgiving Week

We are truly grateful to celebrate our cherished community members, both near and far. Last Friday, our residents and their families dressed up for a formal dinner held right in the comfort of their homes. We were privileged to have Great Lakes Physical Therapy , Hospice of Michigan and Advisacare volunteers assist in making this event a memorable occasion. A special thank you to David Chown for the wonderful piano performance.

We wish you all a fantastic Thanksgiving week, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us for our formal dinner for your loved ones.

Happy Veterans Day!

First, we want to express our sincere gratitude to all our veterans. Today, we honor all those who have served our country and all those who are still serving.

Today, we were able to honor our veterans with a special pizza luncheon. Surrounded by a few local veterans who were kind enough to spend some time with our loved ones, we followed this lunch with a Veterans Day ceremony where we watched tributes to our veterans and handed out certificates and pins for their service.

We hope everyone feels honored, loved, and appreciated on this special day.
