We want to congratulate an amazing man that has worked tirelessly, established a thriving dental legacy, mentored countless dental students on mission trips, donated services to veterans and people in need and dedicated 40 years to making beautiful smiles for over 30,000 patients in the Traverse City Area. Dr. Steven Niergarth is one of a kind and no one deserves retirement more than him. Today, we celebrated him on his final day of dentistry with laughs, shared memories, and a full circle ending to his career by seeing his very first patient in 1985 as his last.

Dr. Niergarth, you have dedicated your life to bettering others and we are so happy that you can now spend the rest of it enjoying your beautiful and growing family. We wish you well on your next adventure and hope to see all of the fun memories you will make along the way.

❤️In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, many thanks to our wonderful Deerhaven team members for showing their love today for our community. Shannon, Rachael, Amanda, Sherry, Sandy, Andrea, Kim, Genessa, Molly and Rachel all gave of themselves by volunteering their skills and helped out 54 patients and provided $34,000 worth of much-needed care.
Thanks also go out to Dr. Chuck Kass of Grand Traverse Endodontics and Mike Seward of Breton Dental Studios for their gracious donation of services.
We couldn’t do it without all of you, thanks everyone!❤️

K-1 Racing and the Margarita Grill were the sites of this year’s Deerhaven Dentistry Christmas party. We had tons of fun racing cars before heading to dinner. Thanks to everyone who made Deerhaven Dentistry’s 10th annual Veterans Day free clinic a success! We are grateful to our staff for their donation of time, to Dr. Charles Kass of Grand Traverse Endodontics, Breton Dental Studios, Jimmy John’s of Traverse City, and finally, Jamie Laferriere, who sang a beautiful rendition of our National Anthem to start off our clinic day. It was our pleasure to treat so many wonderful and deserving veterans! 🇺🇸
