I made pasty last night.

Made “Famile Style” like this is known by quite a few names; pasty pie, company pasty, meat pie, pan pasty, easy pasty, and others.

Great comfort food on a cold night.

6 medium size potatoes
4 good size carrots
1 Large onion
(When it’s just for me, or I make individuals, I add about 1/4 cup of rutabaga, diced small. The rest of the family doesn’t like rutabaga)
1.5 pounds of ground beef

Dice all the veggies. Rinse the potatoes to get some of the starch out.
I brown my ground beef to about half cooked and half pink.
Toss it all in a big bowl, salt and pepper to taste, mix well. Your hands work best.
Roll out individual crust rounds or line a deep dish pan with crust and “dump it all in”. 🤣. Cover with crust. Add a couple of holes for the steam to escape and bake at 350 for an hour or so, or till veggies are tender. I let mine rest for 20 minutes or so before serving.

I normally buy Pillsbury pre made crust. I can make my own, but I just don’t like doing it. 🙄
