Founded in 1986 by John Morgan and 4 enthusiastic homeopathic students, Helios began its work, at the Tunbridge Wells pharmacy, to create a new source of potent, accurate and effective remedies. Homeopathy in History...

In 1912, Dr. S. W. Lehman from Dixon, Illinois wrote, “Whooping cough is said to be the cause of the death of six thousand children annually, in this country. Statistics show a mortality of 81.8 percent in the cases followed by pneumonia as a complication or sequellae. … I have been treating this disease (with homeopathy) for over twenty years. I have never had a complication following my treatment, nor a death that could in any way be attributed to the disease or its treatment.”

In 1917, Dr. Lehman presented a paper before the International Hahnemannian Association in which he wrote:

"There is not a disease in the catalogue that its course may not be made lighter, its convalescence shorter, the complications fewer and the death rate reduced by giving remedies according to the law of similars rather than otherwise. Whooping cough may be cured in an average of fourteen (14) days without complications. I have been practicing this method for the cure of whooping cough for ten (10) years. I have never had a complication. My clients have invariably told me that their children were better after the whooping cough was cured than before...The antipathic and allopathic treatment advocated in all the regular textbooks on diseases of children the average length of cure is six (6) weeks to all summer."

Homeopathy in History...

It is interesting to look back at the comparative duration of pneumonia after various treatments in the 1800s.

When patients were untreated with any medical therapy, the average duration of recovery from pneumonia was 28 days, as compared with 29 days with ordinary medicine prior to the era of antibiotics, and 11.67 days under homeopathy.
