Everyone is going to have different intensity thresholds while pregnant; yes, you have seen that mom on instagram who is crushing barbell snatches at 36 weeks, and you might feel like you can barely get through body weight lunges.
Here’s the truth- whatever you can do counts and is beneficial! There is a plethora of research that moms who stay active during pregnancy experience so many benefits for both themselves and baby, but you have to do what works for you. I’ve had 2 pregnancy’s where I have been able to workout the whole time, and another where I could barely muster anything. I get it 🫶
While motivating yourself to workout sometimes feels worthless, I promise you the effort to get up and move is SO worth it. It’s in investment in your postpartum self.
