isn’t a pretty big pelvic floor flex…

I truly don’t know what is. 😂

✅Hydrated
✅Bladder control to the max
✅Pelvic floor doing its JOB

This is what functional strength actually looks like, friends.
Not six-pack selfies.
Not holding your breath through workouts.
Not pretending leaks are “just mom life.”

Just a body that supports you through real-life chaos — water bottle spills and all.

Train for the moments that matter... like checking one more thing off your list before you p*e.

To all my recovering perfectionists out there...

It’s tough, isn’t it?

Wanting everything to be just right before you even start.

But when it comes to healing your core and pelvic floor, waiting for that perfect moment or trying to follow the “perfect” plan can hold you back.

Here’s the thing: healing isn’t about perfection—it’s about progress. 🌱

It’s about learning to honor your body where it’s at right now, even when it’s hard to let go of control.

As a recovering perfectionist myself, I know how challenging this mindset shift can be.

You want to do everything by the book, but healing your core and pelvic floor is about building strength from the inside out, and that process is anything but linear.

There will be setbacks, slower days, and moments when you doubt yourself.

If you’re serious about building a stronger core and finally seeing flatter abs, it’s time to change your approach. Here’s what you should focus on instead:

👉🏼 Master the Art of 360° Breathing: Diaphragmatic breathing isn’t just about taking a deep breath—it’s about expanding your belly, ribs, and back with every inhale. This kind of breathing is a game-changer for your core.

👉🏼 Release Tension First: If your body is tight and tense, it’s going to mess with your breathing. Relaxation techniques are key to making sure you’re breathing the right way.

👉🏼 Activate Your Deep Core Muscles: Forget the surface-level stuff. It’s time to connect with your transverse abdominis (TVA). These deep core muscles act like a natural corset, pulling your abs flat from the inside out.

👉🏼 Posture is Everything: Good alignment isn’t just for avoiding back pain—it’s crucial for engaging your core effectively. Focus on exercises that improve your posture, and you’ll be amazed at how much stronger and more supported your entire body feels.

👉🏼 Ditch the Crunches: Crunches alone aren’t going to give you the flat abs you’re after. It’s time to think smarter, not harder, when it comes to core work.

I used to look fit…
But behind the scenes?
