Members finished their portion of the self-study document that we need to have for accreditation this week! Good job team!

Now we are looking forward to getting the Clubhouse in tip top shape for the Accreditation team to visit in mid-December.

Accreditation is a research-based quality assurance program designed to ensure successful outcomes for Clubhouses and their members. Achieving and maintaining Accreditation is a requirement for a Clubhouse's membership in Clubhouse International.

The Accreditation process is both evaluative and consultative. Accreditation is awarded for either a one- or three-year period, subject to the degree of adherence by the Clubhouse to the International Standards for Clubhouse Programs™. It is conducted by members of the Clubhouse International Faculty, which is composed of veteran members and staff from Accredited Clubhouses around the world.

Traverse House Clubhouse colleagues are gearing up for an in house special cleaning project day this coming Tuesday, September 30th! This project day will require several hours so our regular work ordered day will conclude at noon.
We absolutely love our space and also know changes/transitions can be challenging at times which makes colleague collaboration that much more important.

Walk-a-Mile in My Shoes!
Traverse House Clubhouse colleagues attended this year's Walk-a-Mile in My Shoes Rally in Lansing, MI.
Advocates from all over our great state of Michigan and beyond were in attendance with us! Colleagues were also able to meet with state legislators and use our voices to advocate for lasting positive changes regarding our mental health care system.

Lizzy W. and Mike L. have started volunteering at TC Paws (the local cat adoption program) during the weekends. Its been a very rewarding volunteer option for animal lovers. We use our experience with animals to help new families adopt cats and kittens.

lots of laughter, smiles and kicking back on our Labor Day. Jayna with her beach vibes and even Dougie spreading joy and mischief. Carrie can be see spreading around hugs and smiles too. A all around a wonderful relaxing day with traverse house
