Happy Spring! Strawberries are one of my absolute favorite berries to grow and harvest in the garden! Not only are they delicious, but they also add such natural beauty and colorful accents against the prevalent green garden foliage. Whether they're prepared in a smoothie, salad or simply eaten fresh all by themselves, they speak a language all of their own. Strawberries will continue to be a garden staple, as it's now time to start my little strawberry seedlings.
Strawberries are members of the rose family, and each seed is separate flower in itself. They're always blooming, bursting, bleeding scent into every food they're paired, blended and mixed with, pouring sweet vitality into all they touch. -Victoria Brick
