Footprints Beachside Recovery is a small, private, and holistic substance abuse treatment center for adults. We are located in the Tampa Bay Area, nestled in the old Florida beach town of Treasure Island and neighboring America’s #1 Beach – St. Pete Beach. Footprints offers the relaxing and beautiful setting of the beach and gulf breezes to heal mind, body, and spirit. We are founded by family who experienced the devastating consequences of substance abuse and together overcame addiction. Our program was created to give back and give others the opportunity to completely recover from addiction and restore their lives. As a dual diagnosis facility, the fully credentialed and licensed clinical staff of Footprints believes in treating the whole person. Intimate by design, with a 4:1 ratio of therapist to clients, our boutique style of treatment offers our clients a greater degree of personalization and individualized care. Footprints Beachside Recovery Center combines decades of experience in substance abuse and mental health.

⛱️ Golf cart tours on Gulf Blvd on Sunset Beach to tour our beautiful Beachside housings. Since our founding in 2008, we have always been in beautiful Treasure Island for clients to relax and heal at the beach.

May 8th, 2023 I walked into the doors of Footprints Beachside Recovery not even 100% sure I wanted to be there let alone get sober.. But I knew something had to change.

Today I get to celebrate 2 years of sobriety. And I can honestly say that even on my worst days of dealing with mental health, and life on life’s terms that as long as I don’t pick up a drink or drug everything will be okay. I will be okay.

I wouldn’t trade the life that I live now for anything or anyone. Thank you to my higher power, AA, my family and supportive friends that have been here through this journey with me; because I wouldn’t be able to say I’m 2 years sober today without yall🫶🏼

👣 Footprints clients and staff were witnesses to The Tibetan Buddhist Monks w the Drepung Gomang Monastery create a wisdom sand Mandala in Downtown St. Petersburg.

At the end of the week, all the sand sandals were returned back to the ocean to symbolize impermanence.

🕉 The Buddhist concept of impermanence, or "Anicca," reminds us that everything in life is in constant flux—nothing is fixed or permanent.

This understanding encourages mindfulness and acceptance, allowing us to live more fully in the present moment. Recognizing that both joy and sorrow are temporary can bring peace, helping us let go of attachments and approach life with equanimity.

It’s a beautiful reminder that change is the natural state of the universe, and by embracing it, we can cultivate a deeper sense of wisdom and resilience. 🌿

Footprints offers the relaxing and beautiful setting of the beach and gulf breezes to heal mind, body, and spirit. We offer 30, 60 and 90 day program options. We are founded by family who experienced the devastating consequences of substance abuse and together overcame addiction. Our program was created to give back and give others the opportunity to completely recover from addiction and restore their lives. Recovery IS possible!
