On Your Side Family Services We offer a multitude of family services to help you stay happy, healthy, and safe. On Your Side Family Services, LLC, is a local resource for families.

On the Bright Side:We offer counseling/therapy services for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in a calm, safe space with our therapist Heather Herrick, LMSW. She is a social worker with over 20 years of clinical experience and 15 years of school social work experience. She has expertise in behavior planning for children and families, ADHD, ODD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, autism spectrum disorders, attachment, navigation of sexual orientation/gender expression/relationships, grief and loss, divorce, and changing family structures (including step-parenting, same-sex parenting, and foster parenting). Heather utilizes a variety of therapeutic interventions specific to each client's/family's needs. On the Safe Side:We offer a variety of infant and child safety education sessions that focus on the prevention of accidental death and injury to children. Jami Melton is our certified Child Passenger Safety Technician and Injury Prevention Specialist and has over 17 years of experience keeping kids safe. She offers car seat safety checks, safe sleep education, home safety audits, and tailored in-person education sessions that meet the needs of your family. She also teaches the Safe Sitter course for teens interested in babysitting. On the Smart Side: We offer tutoring services for your elementary, middle, or high school student who may need some outside assistance academically. On the Art Side:We offer art classes to encourage children, adolescents, and adults to express themselves creatively. Session descriptions will be posted as scheduled.
