Yes, we have a robot, but we also have an amazing team! Sometimes, the best solution is some good ol' fashioned elbow grease. Stretching is a staple of physical therapy, because of its ability to restore ideal range of motion to the joints. Stretching is prescribed to increase muscle length and ROM, and/or to align collagen fibers during healing muscle. Therapeutic stretches can also correct movement patterns that are contributing to tissue strain, damage and pain. By improving quality of movement, stretching can enhance athletic performance, increase work productivity, and improve a patient’s ability to perform their daily activities.
