Congrats NJOS Board Member Mina Abdelshahed!!

https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1ASkn1gQK9/?mibextid=WC7FNe

It’s official — Dr. Mina Abdelshahed has been named an Active Member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES), one of the most prestigious and exclusive societies in orthopedics.

This isn’t just a title. It’s a career-defining milestone. Becoming an Active Member means being recognized for significant contributions to the field — through research, education, and clinical excellence. It also means joining a select group of surgeons committed to shaping the future of shoulder and elbow care.

From his earliest days in training to years of treating complex shoulder and elbow conditions, Dr. Abdelshahed has consistently shown a commitment to surgical excellence, research, and mentoring the next generation.

The journey to Active Membership is rigorous, requiring surgeons to progress through multiple levels, each reflecting continued growth and impact. Dr. Abdelshahed’s advancement is a reflection of not only his skill, but his passion for the field and the patients he serves.

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Mina on this incredible achievement — your hard work continues to inspire us all.
