Last week, APTANJ closed out Physical Therapy Month by collaborating with Mercer County Community College on “Get Moving Trenton”; a free movement screening event led by APTANJ member volunteers for Trenton residents. Screenings included blood pressure, grip strength, 30-second sit to stand, gait speed and more. Mercer President, Dr. Deborah Preston was in attendance and received her screening as well.

Thank you to all who helped bring this event together in service to the community. It provided a great end to Physical Therapy Month in New Jersey and serve Trentonians of all ages to help improve the way they move!

Saturday is the day! Get your free health screening at our James Kerney Campus in downtown Trenton from 10 am to 12 pm. Screenings are open to community members of all ages!

We are so proud to provide this free service to our friends in Trenton with assistance from American Physical Therapy Association of New Jersey. Be sure to spread the word!
