SNAP Update:

Governor Phil Murphy has declared a State of Emergency effective November 1 due to the suspension of federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits by the Trump Administration.

This action allows New Jersey to coordinate a statewide response to protect residents’ access to food and essential nutrition services. More than 800,000 New Jersey residents depend on SNAP for their basic needs, including children, people with disabilities, and older adults.

If your Families First EBT card was loaded before October 31, your benefits will still work after November 1.
