Thank you to Hamilton Township Police Department and Full Spectrum Therapy for hosting such a meaningful community event. Real conversations. Real growth. Real connection.

Our March Life Through Different Lenses (LTDL) Peer Support Group focused on setting boundaries—a powerful topic that sparked honest discussion, shared experiences, and practical takeaways. Under the leadership of our new facilitator, Jessica G., the group continues to create a welcoming space where people with disabilities can learn, reflect, and support one another across Mercer County, NJ.

Peer support groups like LTDL help build confidence, strengthen self-advocacy, and reduce isolation—because no one should have to navigate life alone.

Preparedness starts with knowledge—and grows through community.

We had a great time delivering our Pathways to Preparedness Emergency Preparedness Training to Project Freedom. Together, we focused on practical steps to stay safe, build confidence, and create personalized plans—especially for people with disabilities in Mercer County and Hunterdon County, NJ.

Trainings like this help ensure that everyone—regardless of ability—is included in emergency planning and has the tools they need to respond when it matters most.

Why do we care about mental health so much? Because it matters—right here in our communities.

Over 700 lives are lost to su***de each year in New Jersey. Thousands more are struggling in silence. For people with disabilities, the risk of mental distress is even higher—often impacted by isolation, barriers to care, and access to care.

But support changes outcomes. Connection matters. Community matters.

At PCIL, we are committed to creating safe, inclusive spaces where people with disabilities across Mercer County and Hunterdon County, NJ can feel heard, supported, and empowered.

Ask us how you can get Mental Health First Aid certified with PCIL and be part of the solution.
