The first ever Postpartum Alumni Event at ☕🤍 and my heart is so full.

We gathered, we caught up on babies and breakthroughs… and of course we had coffee from our sweet neighbors at .

Side story (because there’s always a side story with me 🙃)… I carried out SIX coffees… and dropped. every. single. one.

Instant tears. Total overwhelm. Postpartum alumni event host… sobbing in the parking lot covered in coffee. 🫠

And the staff at Kekoa? Absolute angels. They helped me clean up the mess, comforted me, remade every drink no questions asked, and even helped me carry round two to my car. We laughed. I cried and honestly, it felt very on brand for motherhood.

And then… we gathered.

Being able to create this space with The Mill for these incredible women fills my cup in ways I can’t even explain. Every single group I run comes from my “why” from something I once needed during a season of my own life.

Postpartum can feel isolating. Transitioning out of group can feel tender. So we created a place to come back. To reconnect. To remember you’re not alone.

It seriously fills my cup to pour into women who are pouring into everyone else. 🤍

Here’s to community.
Here’s to grace when you drop the coffee.
And here’s to building spaces we once wished we had.

The first ever Postpartum Alumni Event at The Mill ☕🤍 and my heart is so full.

We gathered, we hugged, we caught up on babies and breakthroughs… and of course we had coffee from our sweet neighbors at KOKA Side Story.

Side story (because there’s always a side story with me 🙃)… I carried out SIX coffees… and dropped. every. single. one.

Instant tears. Total overwhelm. Postpartum alumni event host… sobbing in the parking lot covered in coffee. 🫠

And the staff at KOKA? Absolute angels. They helped me clean up the mess, comforted me, remade every drink no questions asked, and even helped me carry round two to my car. We laughed. I cried. It was such a human moment and honestly, it felt very on brand for motherhood.

And then… we gathered.

🚨 Long sappy post alert 🚨
To my OG Postpartum Moms…

As our last group wrapped today, the gratitude hit hard. You were my very first group the ones who trusted me with your stories, fears, love, exhaustion, laughter, and healing. You showed up for yourselves and for each other, and you created something truly special. You were the beginning.

None of this would exist without you. And none of it would’ve been possible without giving us not just a room, but a home a place for moms to fall apart and come back together, where strangers became family.

You tell me I’ve helped you, but the truth is… you helped me just as much. You shaped me, stretched me, grounded me. You made me a better therapist, a better mom, a better human.

Because of you (and The Mill believing in this), I found the courage to dream bigger to open more groups, add series .. and create more connection and more calm places for moms to land.

You weren’t just a group. You became a family.
And I’ll carry each of you with me into every group that follows.

Forever grateful.
Forever changed. 🤍

— Heather

Mom Guilt ✨

Mom guilt shows up quietly — in the “should haves,” the comparisons, and the late-night overthinking. But you deserve grace, not guilt. 💛

These small daily shifts can help you come back to compassion:
🌷 Make time for yourself — even in tiny moments.
🌷 Talk to yourself the way you’d comfort a friend.
🌷 Reflect on what guilt is trying to teach you, not punish you for.
🌷 Connect with another mom — micro-connections matter.
🌷 Set limits on comparison traps and practice affirmations: “I am a caring mom, I’m doing the best I can.”

You are enough. You’ve always been enough. 🤍

🌷 Postpartum Power: A Space to Heal and Connect 🌷

Maybe lately you’ve been craving connection — real, meaningful connection.
You want to share your experiences and feel understood by others who get it.
You’re longing for honest conversations, gentle feedback, and reminders that you’re not alone in how heavy motherhood can feel sometimes.
You might even be noticing how much you’ve been holding — the mental load, the expectations, the identity shifts — and realizing… you’re ready to grow. 🌱

✨ This is exactly what our Postpartum Power Group is for. ✨

In this circle, you’ll find:
🤍 Shared understanding — other moms walking through similar seasons.
💬 Honest reflection — space to name what’s really going on.
🧠 Coping tools — practical strategies to manage anxiety, overwhelm, and identity shifts.
🌿 Growth and grace — a safe, supportive community to help you rediscover you.

If you’ve ever thought, “I shouldn’t feel this way,” or “No one else talks about this,” — please know you belong here.

Our next Postpartum Power Group begins in early 2026 at The Mill in collaboration with New Perspective Services.
Groups are intentionally small and intimate — a place where you can be real, raw, and supported.

We often see “empowerment” posts that tell us not to care what others think — but real healing goes deeper than that.

When we haven’t yet done the inner work, it’s easy to use phrases like “It’s not about me” or “They just don’t get me” as emotional armor. They can feel comforting… but they can also block accountability, curiosity, and connection.

True healing softens you — it doesn’t harden you.
It teaches empathy without self-abandonment, boundaries without bitterness, and confidence without ego.

You can love who you are and still evolve.
You can stand firm in your truth and still care how your energy lands.

✨ Growth and self-acceptance aren’t opposites — they’re partners.
