🤩Welcoming Trenton Peabody Seniors to Court Today🤩

We had part of the senior class from Trenton Peabody High School join us this morning for our Choices & Consequences class.

These students showed up ready to listen, ask questions, and learn about the real-life impact of decisions, accountability, and opportunity in the justice system.

A huge thank you to Mrs. Sandy Hodges for consistently bringing her classes each year. Your commitment to exposing students to real-world leadership and civic education makes a difference.

We appreciate each student who took the time to be here today — and we hope this experience encourages wise choices, responsibility, and confidence as you step into adulthood.

Good luck, seniors — your future is wide open.

Invitation to Recovery Court Graduation

You’re invited to celebrate something that truly matters.

On Monday, December 15th at 5:00 pm, we’ll gather in the Trenton General Sessions Courtroom for our next Gibson County Recovery Court Graduation.

Three of our participants — Patsy Brown, Mercedes Mays, and Joshua McMillin — have put in the hard work it takes to change their lives. They’ve shown discipline, humility, honesty, and courage when it counted most.

Graduation isn’t the finish line. It’s the moment we stop and honor how far they’ve come… and remind them that they’re not walking the next steps alone.

If you’ve ever wondered what hope looks like in real life, come see it.

Everyone is welcome.

Today was a good day in Gibson County Recovery Court. Gibson County Recovery Court

We got to celebrate three people who refused to quit — Randall Smith, Stacey Mitchell, and Blaire McCaskill.

• Randall Smith — Phase 2 Complete
• Stacey Mitchell — Phase 2 Complete
• Blaire McCaskill — Phase 4 Complete

These aren’t just certificates. They represent hard choices, late-night battles, honest self-reflection, and the courage to keep walking when the easy thing would’ve been turning back.

Each of them showed grit. Each of them showed heart. And each of them is proving that change is possible when you stay committed to the process.

Proud of all three.
Cheering them on as they keep climbing.

Congratulations, Randall.
Congratulations, Stacey.
Congratulations, Blaire.

The Gibson County Recovery Court is grateful this Thanksgiving. Gibson County Recovery Court

Today our team delivered Thanksgiving food baskets — complete with a turkey — to every participant in the program. It’s more than a meal… it’s a reminder that people can rebuild, restart, and move forward with dignity.

A huge thank-you to the Tennessee Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services for the grant funding and for believing in the work happening here in Gibson County. Their support helps us make sure our participants not only get treatment, but also feel seen and supported during the holidays.

Recovery is hard. Holidays can be harder. But nobody walks this road alone — not in Gibson County.

Happy Early Thanksgiving 🦃🍁🦃
