...Why does a "coffee shop" sell hotdogs and popcorn?

To answer that, we have to go back 20 years in Arkay Incorporated history. Arkay began working at Comerica Park's concession stand #149 around 2005. We were the first consistent non-profit to work at #149, and we continued to work there every season until 2020, at Tiger's games, concerts, and special events.
Selling these items is a throwback to our fond memories of working at stand #149. Tiger's games have a special place in our heart 🧡

Arkay, Inc. is hiring for full and part time Direct Care Worker/Job Coaches to work with adults with developmental/ cognitive disabilities in our Vocational Day Programs.

Starting pay: $17.61 per hour.

Hiring for: Southgate, Flat Rock and Livonia

Responsibilities include: Assisting with daily living goals, skill building and community inclusion.

Requirements: HS diploma or GED, Driver's License, Registration and Auto Insurance. Past experience referred but not required.

Paid training provided. PTO, Holiday pay, and Healthcare Benefits after 90 days. 403B after 30 days. Mileage reimbursement will be paid if necessary to use personal vehicle.
