Maurice E. Dockery was born to Marvin Leonard and Addiel Dockery on November 26, 1985. God seen fit for Maurice to depart this life surrounded by family and friends on the afternoon of December 16, 2025 at Serenity Hospice Care.
He was educated in the local public schools of Trenton, New Jersey. He was a proud graduate Trenton High School in 2004.
Maurice was a young man that was filled with joy and laughter. His light shined bright which attracted many family and friends to want to be around him. Though his life was filled with many health challenges, he never let that stop him from living!
Two of his major accomplishments of his life were his two children. Alijah born in 2016 and Nevaeh born in 2018. There time together was priceless and filled with much laugher.
Maurice was blessed to find love in his lifetime. Through the “world wide web” he met a lovely young lady by the name of May Umali who lived in the Philippines. After a while, he took flight to meet and marry the love his life. The beautiful wedding took place in her native country on September 30, 2022. Later May relocated and united with the Dockery Family in Trenton, New Jersey.
Everyone knows Maurice was a lover of Anime. He was a true gamer, and at any moment you could catch him playing ‘Fortnite’ with such passion and determination!
Maurice is predeceased by his grandmother, Lola Mae Solomon; grandfather Samuel L. Dockery, Sr. and several family members.
Living to cherish his memories, wife May M. Dockery; his children Alijah and Nevaeh; his mother Addie L. Dockery; his father Marvin (Regina) Leonard; siblings, Marvin (Angela) Dockery, Jr., Latifa Dockery, Ieshia (Jameel) Dockery; Three close cousins, Kelly (Sam) Anderson, Keandra Johnson, and Troy Boyd, Jr.; three special friends, Mike, Max and Giovanni along with so many nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.

Dorothy Delores Pettaway was born on December 23, 1945 to the Late Amanda Lawrence and Columbus Pettaway.

Dorothy was born in Princeville, North Carolina until she relocated to Trenton, New Jersey at the age of 19.

Dorothy didn’t come along, she had two sons of her own. Dorothy came to Trenton because of her brother Julius, he was living in Trenton and being his baby sister and only sister he went and brought her and her children here to be with him so he could help her with her children.
Dorothy affectionately known as Dot was also raised by her grandmother Emma Lawrence when her mother passed.
She is predeceased by her daughter; Patricia Pettaway, granddaughters; Sharelle Pettaway and Samantha Solomon, grandson; Korey Solomon, brothers; Columbus Pettaway, Julius Pettaway, Johnnie Pettaway and Milton Pettaway.

Dorothy leaves to mourn and cherish her memories three sons; Monty Pettaway (Cynthia), Samuel Eugene Pettaway an Alexander Pettaway, all of Trenton, New Jersey. She is also survived by one daughter; Cheryl Pettaway Hagler of Trenton, brother; Tyrone Pettaway of North Carolina and sister in law Era Pettaway of Elizabeth, New Jersey. Also left to cherish her memory are 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren (Mazai Davis and Mason Davis).

Dot loved her family and all her children, and her children’s children starting with Lataya Solomon, Matika Pettaway, Monty Jr. Pettaway, Shanell Pettaway, Shabree Pettaway, Gregory Pettaway, Tyhira’ Hagler, Rakeem Pettaway, Tyhir Pettaway, Darius Solomon & Kortney Solomon, Breanna Calix (Richard), Breasia Solomon; the two granddaughters that were there with her from birth. Dot raised them as well as she raised Lataya and Samantha.
Dot has a host of nieces and nephews that lover her and she loved them.

Dot, a woman of love and wisdom helped everyone that crossed her path. She was always willing to help if she could with no questions asked. She was a family oriented person and she made sure that she showed that love to her family. For all that knew her, knew she loved cruising, she loved the Lord and loved listening to her gospels. Dot love going to the casino and scratching her scratch offs. She also enjoyed hanging out with her friends; Irene, Jean, Sissy and Debbie. She will definitely be missed by many along with her special friend Ronnie that always made her laugh.

Leon B. Grainger peacefully completed his earthly journey on November 29, 2025 with his beloved daughter by his side.

Born in Mullins, South Carolina, Leon was educated in the Trenton Public School system, attending Columbus and Grant Elementary Schools, Junior 1, and graduating from Trenton Central High School, Class of 1971.

He later attended Trenton State Collu and was proud to be affiliated with Omega Psi Phi.

Leon dedicated 15 years of service to Custom Abrasives in Ewing Township before relocating to Syracuse, Nee York.

Despite undergoing two knee replacements, Leon remained active, working various jobs within his community and supporting his family.

Known affectionately as "Teach" by his peers, Leon earned respect for his intellect, wisdom, and remarkable ability to simplify complex topics.

A wise and avid reader, Leon loved listening to Motown classics, reminiscing about the past, and sharing old stories that brought joy and laughter to those around him.

He was preceded in death by his parents Curleen Grainger Snow and Elbert Lee Snow, and brother Willie E. Grainger.

Leon leaves to cherish his memory his devoted daughter, Shaurise (Shawn); two adored granddaughters, Shaurel & Shaunai; niece & nephew, Tanisha and Tyran; and a host of cousins and dear friends, including Elizabeth Maeweather and James Willie Sampson of Syracuse NY.
