NACHC applauds Senators John Cornyn (R-TX) and Senator John Hickenlooper (D-CO) for relaunching the Senate Community Health Center Caucus. The goal of the revitalized Caucus is to ensure that Community Health Centers receive the necessary resources and legislative support they need to provide high-quality, affordable primary care to communities across the United States.

The launch of the Senate Caucus, together with the launch of the House Caucus earlier this year, is a welcome step in the advancement of policy to ensure that CHCs can continue their 60-year legacy of transforming communities and improving health outcomes.

NACHC’s Center for Community Health Innovation announces the Innovation Incubator 2024, powered by the global healthcare company Abbott. This year the incubator will focus on improving health equity through access to nutritious food. With initial seed funding, access to leading experts, and training on human-centered design principles, selected health centers will design and test their solutions – all with the broader goal of sharing what works with health centers nationwide. The aim of NACHC’s Innovation Incubator is to select and support an eight-health center cohort to imagine, build, and test sustainable solutions for their unique populations. Award amount: $30,000 and travel stipend to attend in-person meetings and events. Deadline is March 22.
