“Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can you make it salty again? Have salt among yourselves, and be at peace with each other.” — Mark 9:50

In a world that can drain, wound, and overwhelm, it’s easy to lose the very essence God placed within us.

At Healing Africa Ministries, we walk alongside individuals through counseling, helping them heal, restore their identity, and remain the salt of the earth—full of purpose, truth, and peace.

You were never meant to lose your “saltiness.”
Healing is possible. Restoration is here. 🤍

🙏🏽DAY 20: OAKS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
📖Scripture: Isaiah 61:3

🤔Reflection:
God’s goal is not fragile plants, but oaks. Oaks are strong, rooted, enduring, and planted for His glory. Oaks grow slowly and together. Prayer has shaped us not merely for a season, but for a lifetime of faithful ministry.
Praying priests grow strong so others may find shade.
🙏🏽Prayer Focus:
• Thank God for this season of formation
• Pray for unity within the counseling team
• Commit yourself to long-term faithfulness

Priestly Posture:
“I am planted by the Lord.”

🙏🏽DAY 19 – FRUIT THAT LEADS TO LIFE
📖Scripture: Romans 6:22

🤔Reflection:
Holiness produces fruit. But this fruit is not always quick to come by. God’s fruit is often quiet, slow, and deeply rooted. Prayer keeps counselors faithful when visible results are delayed.

Praying priests trust God’s timing more than their assessments.

🙏🏽Prayer Focus:
• Thank God for unseen fruit
• Release frustration with slow change
• Ask for patience and faithfulness

Priestly Posture:
“I trust God with the fruit.”

🙏🏽 DAY 18: PRESENTED TO GOD
📖 Scripture: Romans 6:13

🤔 Reflection:
Paul uses priestly language: present yourselves. Prayer is where offering begins. Counselors present their time, energy, bodies, and burdens to God before offering counsel to others. It is okay to present EVERYTHING about us to God - even our minutest problems/needs.

Prayer gathers a divided life into a single offering.

🙏🏽Prayer Focus:
• Offer your body, mind, and ministry to God - and all the personal issues to struggle with
• Pray specifically for current and future counseling cases
• Ask God to receive your service

Priestly Posture:
“I present myself fully to God - including my problems.”

🙏🏽DAY 17: RECKONING WHAT IS TRUE

📖Scripture: Romans 6:11

🤔Reflection:
Paul calls us to consider ourselves dead to sin and ALIVE to God. This is not denial; it is faith. Prayer trains the mind to agree with God’s verdict over feelings and circumstances.
Praying priests learn to rehearse truth before speaking truth to others.

🙏🏽Prayer Focus:
• Ask God to renew your thinking
• Confess lies you rehearse about yourself or your counseling ministry
• Declare God’s truth aloud

Priestly Posture:
“I agree with God’s truth.”

🙏🏽DAY 16: SIN’S POWER BROKEN

📖Scripture: Romans 6:6-7

🤔Reflection:
Paul declares that the old self was crucified with Christ so that sin’s rule would be broken. This does not mean temptation is gone. But it does mean authority has changed hands. Prayer reminds counselors that sin no longer governs their identity or direction.

Praying priests counsel from freedom, not defeat.

🙏🏽Prayer Focus:
• Declare Christ’s victory over sin in general
• Confess areas where old patterns still feel powerful in your personal life
• Ask God to help you walk in freedom from sin (known and unknown)

Priestly Posture:
“Sin no longer has authority over me.”

🙏🏽DAY 15: UNITED WITH CHRIST

📖Scripture: Romans 6:3–5

🤔Reflection:
In this text, we see Paul grounding priestly consecration in our union with Christ. We are not only cleansed and set apart; we are joined to Christ in His death and resurrection. The power for holiness does not come from discipline alone, but from a shared life with Christ.

Praying priests do not minister from isolation, but from union with our dear Lord!

🙏🏽Prayer Focus:
• Thank the Lord for our union with Him
• Confess ways you and I act as if we are alone in this counseling ministry
• Ask God to strengthen your awareness of shared life with Christ

Priestly Posture:
“I minister from my union, not isolation.”

🙏🏽 DAY 14 – THE FRUIT OF HOLINESS

📖Scripture: Romans 6:22

🤔Reflection:
Consecration produces fruit—not immediately visible, but eternally significant. Prayer helps counselors trust God’s timeline and fruitfulness rather than demanding quick results.

Holy priests trust holy outcomes to God.

🙏🏽Prayer Focus:
• Pray for lasting fruit in your life and ministry
• Release frustration with slow progress
• Ask for perseverance

Priestly Posture:
“I trust God for the fruit.”
