A big thank you to everyone that was able to join us at our Christmas Party at Lumina Health!✨ 🎄 It was so great seeing so many faces I hadn’t in a long time and getting to meet great people new to the clinic.

It’s crazy we have all likely at some point, (unfortunately) figured out that healthcare is often cheaper when we don’t use our insurance.

Today I will be hosting a Townhall at the Trimble community building - 101 S 4th street, Trimble, MO 64492- at 1pm to talk about direct primary care and how this model can actually make healthcare cheaper for you while providing you with access to your doctor, time at every visit without the wait and convenience of healthcare tailored to you and your life and schedule.

At Lumina Health DPC we get the privilege of serving our patients when they need us, for as long as they need us without the wait of a traditional clinic.

🦃 🏈 Happy Thanksgiving 🍁 🍽

I am very thankful this Thanksgiving to be back doctoring and to have the opportunity to take care of so many of my patients again that are near and dear to my heart 💛

It was working in urgent care that I realized just how much clinic family medicine was the right fit for me. In that job, it bothered me greatly to make a connection with people, in just that short amount of time, and not know how things turned out for them or if they were ok. I knew then clinic was where I belonged.

Even then, I couldn’t have guessed what a grieving process it would be to take care of people, some for over a decade, and have those connections suddenly lost.

My patients are like family to me. We go through the very worst and the very best together. To be able to feel what people are going through in those moments, to me, is an amazing blessing and one that I am beyond grateful for! 🙏🏼 💛

To my patients that I have been able to reconnect with, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for looking for me! 🙏🏼 💛

To my patients that I have not yet been able to say hello again or goodbye to (with a hug), I hope one day we can and that you are well, as the worry from urgent care days for not knowing the end of your story has not ceased. 🙏🏼 💛

To the wonderful new faces that I have had the opportunity to meet and welcome into Lumina Health, I am so thankful for the opportunity to guide you on your health journey, and be along with you through the wild 🤪 ride that is life! 🙏🏼 💛

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and can share time with loved ones, eat too much, travel safe, can find the small things in life to be thankful for, and last but certainly not least…. Can celebrate a Chiefs win!!! 😜 🏈 ❤️ 💛

Second verse same as the first! A little bit cheaper and a little more words!

Second day at Lumina Health DPC was equally as great as the first. I got to see some dear patients known to me and some new! 💛

We officially have a sign on the building door letting people know where to find us! 🪧

And I couldn’t believe it but we beat Friday’s low 30 day prescription price of .66 cents with one today for .48 cents!!! 🤩😍 the most fun is the equal surprise on my face and my patient’s when I enter the information and the final price pops up.

Members have the benefit of wholesale cost medications and labs at cost plus 20%! 🌟

Today was a great first day at Lumina Health!

Favorite parts of our day:
1. Halloween donuts and ribbon cutting with our families to open up officially this morning.
2. Having one of my most cherished patients from my practice be my first appointment in a time of need
3. Writing a prescription for a patient while in clinic from my own supply of meds for….. .66 cents!!!!!!! Yes a 30 day supply of medication for .66 cents and no need for a second stop at the pharmacy!
