We like to think some of our ways of promoting our business are unique - but maybe it’s in Ean’s blood to do things this way! Here’s Ean's Great-Grandpa, Val Godden, pictured with Kong the monkey during a raffle he ran as part of a TV sale at Welcome TV.

People could sign up for a chance to win the monkey! One lucky Welcome local actually did… but Kong eventually moved to the zoo for a better home. 🐒📺

𝐋𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐅𝐈𝐄𝐋𝐃 - Rose Parrington, age 64, of Lakefield, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems - Mankato, MN.

A Celebration of Life service will be held for Rose at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 27, 2025, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lakefield (620 Bush St, Lakefield, MN 56150) with Pastor Eric Obermann officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service at the church from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM. The service will be recorded and available afterwards on Rose's obituary page. Rose will be buried at Riverside Cemetery in Jackson, near her parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the family or to their GoFundMe link https://gofund.me/54f43a7aa.

Do we have a future pianist on our hands? Who knows! But who better to play piano with for the first time than Glenn Henriksen?!

Marvin was in AWE of Glenn playing his favorite song, “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” on the piano. (Marvin currently sings his own version of this song to us about 30x a day 🥰)
