Decolonization is movement within society, academia and spiritual traditions involves dismantling oppressive structures, reclaiming cultural identity, and restoring autonomy to marginalized communities.

I made this mala recently for my friends. ✨🤩📿

It's handcrafted with pure quartz beads, a white dragon guru bead and a unique hrih pendant which is the symbol of Jikiden Reiki.

The founder of Jikiden Reiki was Chiiyoko Yamaguchi Sensei. She learned Reiki in her youth. Many members of her family also learned Reiki directly from Chujiro Hayashi Sensei because the wife of her uncle and benefactor was miraculously healed from TB after receiving Reiki treatments.

According to Tadao Yamaguchi's book "Light on the Origins of Reiki" for over 2,000 years the white dragon gods have been the guardian spirits of their family. He cites the white dragons have supported him and his mother to provide Reiki ✨🐲✨

Chiyoko Sensei often reported that the white dragon would come to her inside of the Reiju rituals she offered to her Reiki students.

Just thought I'd share a little bit about this special mala!
