However, ALL the Counselors with Hurtado Counseling share a common goal of providing personalized care for their client’s needs. Hurtado Counseling was founded by Tyne Hurtado, LMHC, NCC, Q.S. Tyne opened the new clinic in Trinity which allowed her to build a dedicated Play Therapy & Sensory Oriented room to better help Pediatric, ASD, non-verbal, and many other patients. We see all types of needs, offer services from ages 3+, are LGBTQIA+ advocates, utilize a variety of treatment modalities, etc. We aim to personalize your treatment to the best fit for you. Hurtado Counseling is happy to offer both in-person counseling sessions at our Trinity location as well as Telehealth. Please specify your interest when you call to make an appointment. My practice is dedicated to providing a warm and compassionate environment where you can work through tough and difficult life situations. My goal as your therapist is to hear your story, build upon your already present strengths, provide support, and work on positive coping skills. I see our work as a collaboration to achieve a common goal in improving your quality of life. I work with children (3+), adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I have experience working with a variety of issues such as depression, ADHD, behavioral issues, relationship difficulties, family conflict, traumatic events, etc. I have extensive experience with anxiety treatment working collaboratively with professionals across the state on anxiety treatment.
