SARHA’s Mobile Unit spent the day at Troy Elementary School providing Sports Physicals for current 6th graders who will be playing Middle School sports next year!

We did over 40 physicals for these future Trojan Athletes!!!!

Thank you, TES for having us, and good luck to all of these kids! We can’t wait to watch them excel academically and athletically in the years to come!

We wrapped up our Read Across America with SARHA tour with a read along with Doctors, Nurse Practitioners and PA’s all across different SARHA locations! 📚

Day 4 : Read Across America with SARHA continues…..

Dr. Smith got to read to the sweetest PK4 class at First Methodist and they had the biggest smiles and the best time.

Thank you, Dr. Ben for taking time out of your busy schedule to show the importance of reading, and for sharing all the things doctors do, and how important it is for doctors to read too!

Kady Pugh, SARHA’s Director of Community Relations got to read to 1st graders at Troy Elementary School — it was pajama day at TES, so Llama Llama Red Pajama was the book of choice!

There were lots of smart 1st graders in Mrs. Sewell’s class at TES — finishing sentences in the book, and knowing the rhyming words before even being asked!

Day 4 : Read Across America with SARHA

Andrea Poole, CRNP at SARHA’s Andalusia Family Health Center had the M O S T fun reading to the Pre-K kiddos at Straugh Elementary!

Dr. Seuss said it best when he said “Today you are You that is truer than true, there is no one alive that is youer than YOU!” We hope these little ones always remember just that!

Today, our Director of Community Relations, Kady Pugh got to read to “Mrs. Cortnee’s” K-4 class at Pike Liberal Arts!

After we read, “Brownie” the Bear got a check-up! Blood Pressure checks, heart beats, bandages and shots without a single tear! 🩺

We definitely met some smart Patriots today, and who knows… we may have met a few future doctors, too!h

SARHA had the honor of partnering with Troy Elementary School and sponsoring the snack/candy cart for the "Trojan of the Month" celebration! Each month, the students were presented with a character trait to focus on, and one student from each class in each grade at TES who best represents the character trait of the month was presented with a certificate and could choose items from the candy/snack cart presented by SARHA!

Watching each student light up as their name was called and they picked out their treats was so fun!

SARHA loves celebrating hard work, good character, and BIG achievements in our local schools! Way to go, Trojans! Keep up the good work!
