We want to highlight some wonderful volunteerism happening in our community! 🌱 Each year, the Knights of Columbus roll up their sleeves to plant produce in our Grassroots Community Garden. They nurture it all season long and donate their harvest to local agencies. We were left stunned when we heard they had harvested more than 3,000 pounds this year! THANK YOU to our local Knights of Columbus who truly go above and beyond to serve our community.

You may have seen West Nile in the news recently. We've compiled some information to keep you informed. West Nile is a virus that spreads through mosquito bites. Most people who get infected don’t have symptoms. Rarely, West Nile can cause serious brain and spinal cord illness that can cause hospitalization or death. The best way to prevent West Nile is to prevent mosquito bites. There have been no human cases of West Nile reported in Lincoln County this year.
