Today marks the 1-year Anniversary for the Detroit Orthopaedic Institute. What a difference a year makes. I wanted to thank my family, my phenomenal team, amazing corporate and business partners, and most importantly, the patients who entrusted us with their care. We grew so fast in 2024 and can’t wait to keep growing and serving our community. We are so blessed to be able to provide outstanding, state of the art care to our patients and have so much fun doing it! What better way to celebrate our anniversary then with custom DOI shoes.

Teaching is always so gratifying. It makes it even better when you get to do it with so many friends and colleagues. We are I good hands with the next generation of shoulder surgeons. Phenomenal course covering arthroplasty, arthroscopy and fracture shoulder cases of the shoulder. Thanks to J and J Med Tech for the invitation.

Thanksgiving means something more this year. A year ago I had a dream to start my own practice. A year later is flourishing. Personally I’m thankful for my team, my patients who followed me and the new ones, my reps, my business partnerships, the hospitals and surgery centers that welcomed me, and most importantly, my family who supported me to take a leap of faith. Thank YOU so much if you had any role in helping us succeed. I’m so excited each morning to go to work and help patients.

Meet our DOI PA, Daria Bradley. She is a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA) who specializes in orthopedics. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 5 years at the University of Detroit Mercy. As an undergraduate student and prior to PA school, she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and obtained thousands of patient care hours.

Daria elected to complete a rotation in orthopaedic surgery during the clinical portion of her medical education which solidified her interest in and passion for orthopedic and sports medicine. Upon obtaining licensure, she homed in on her general medical and procedural skills in the urgent care setting prior to joining Detroit Orthopaedic Institute.

In the clinic, Daria focuses on providing quality care for orthopedic complaints involving shoulder injuries, sports-related injuries, and joint reconstruction. She also helps to treat similar conditions that require surgical intervention by closely assisting Dr. Bishai in the operating room. She always keeps it fun in the clinic as well!

Six months ago we opened Detroit Orthopaedic Institute in order to offer outstanding orthopedic care. Since the opening, we are fulfilling our goal. We wanted to thank all the patients that followed us as well as all of the new ones. Patients are coming from far and wide. Amazing patient care is the most important aspect of the DOI experience. We want to get patients in quickly, use the best technologies, offer both nonoperative and operative options, and be available when you need us!
