As of today, Nov. 19, construction has begun on Rochester Road. Traffic is currently down to one lane on northbound Rochester Road between Wattles and Shallowdale, and on southbound Rochester Road north of Long Lake.

For many years now, EY Teacher Allison has been teaching donation classes on Thanksgiving for a local family in need. The past two years, both her and Colleen teamed up to offer two classes. Most of you know Colleen, many of you know Allison, for those of you who don't (she's been on a teaching hiatus for a while raising her 3 little kids), she's a wonderful caring person and we hope you get to meet her!

A little about this years recipient family:

In February 2025, parents received the news that their only child, a one-year old little girl, was diagnosed with craniometaphyseal dysplasia. This is a very rare genetic disorder causing the little girl's bones to grow abnormally fast. Her parents made the decision to move forward with a curative option instead of an annual neurosurgical option. The cure is chemotherapy followed by a bone marrow transplant to effectively reprogram how this little girl's bones form and turns over bone. The parents and the little girl spent 16 months in New York City to receive treatments and recently returned home. The little girl still has a long road to recovery but she is described as a fighter.
