We provide up to date information and referrals on topics such as advocacy, accessibility, housing, transportation, high school transition, com

munity transition services, and veteran services. We refer individuals to community resources or organizations that are appropriate services that will meet the needs of our consumers. Our Information & Referral team of advisors are here to guide and support. Help is only a phone call away.

Join us for adaptive cycling! 🚲🌳

Date: Thursday, May 21, 2026
Time: Pick a one-hour time slot between 2:00 and 6:00 pm
Location: Independence Oaks County Park, Clarkston

We have 7 adult-sized adaptive bikes available. Reserve both a bike and a time slot. Helmets are required, and one will be provided if needed.

If a preferred bike or time slot is full, participants can contact the Rec-Connect team to join the waitlist. Registration help is also available. Email REC-IT@DNEMichigan.org or call 586-268-4160.

People of all abilities are welcome, from first time fishers to seasoned anglers. Poles, bait, and assistance with modifications and adaptive equipment will be provided.

🚴 Join DNEM on May 14th for the first of our adaptive cycling events this season! Enjoy a bike ride through Independence Oaks County Park in Clarkston by signing up for both a bike and a one-hour time slot between 2:00 and 6:00 pm.

No prior art experience is needed. All abilities are welcome. Those who require one-on-one support are encouraged to attend with a caregiver.
